And hey, Benton, Will, and I stayed all 24 hours! And Will and I didn't even sleep! That was 24 hours, on top of the day I had spent awake and at school since 7:30... when I went to bed at 11 last night, that put me at about 40 hours.
You just got to throw back a Red Bull with a Sun Chips chaser, and you're set.
I brought my camera, but only ended up taking two pictures.
These occurred in the early hours of the morning during the Pirate Harold. Yes, a Pirate Harold. Our own Will Hackney was involved, and I decided it necessitated picture documentation because... well, just look at 'em. That hair...

Aww, shit... this is just pre-him-being-thrown-off-the-stage! Like, literally thrown.
I apologize for them being terribly awkward and poorly taken, I was also struggling a little bit at this point.
I know throughout the show, people were taking down Golden Moments in shifts, and I bet they'll be posted on the DSI forums soon. But, I thought I'd just share a few on here. Because I can. Because someone with lack of forethought gave me that password to this journal because they never thought I'd write an entry so painfully long...
-Mexican deliverables
-THE GLASS DICK
-The moon...?
-Whore Alley
-Purple Rhino Horn
-Golden Condor with 17-foot wingspan
-Choooocooolateee Sofffteeee Adventuuuureee (THEREDBULLGAMEAHHH!)
-"Uhhh, ummm, uhhh, oh God, okay, uhhhh, ummm uhnhhh..." -Bill Cochran
-"Take your clothes off and give yourself paper cuts with your waiver."
-Street frog = road toad (I played this game in my mind forever)
-DIDDLE
-Kiss the masthead
-"There is no bigger number than 100!"
-BENJAMIN FRANKLIN
sldk;jf I knew I had a bajillion in my mind and now they are all gone. Whatever! For people who were there early morning... bus trip? Pure Aztec gold treasure.
Also, again, just because I can, here is a list of suggestions of mine that were accepted. Because towards the end, I just yelled suggestions really loud to everything.
-Just friends!
-Handicap accessible
-Clothespin
-Jeans
-Anticipation Lane
-Upsetness about fear
Props to Handley for 'Chocolate Softee Adventure' and 'buttons.' Sometimes, when a teddy bear loses an eye...
But seriously, I learned a lot about Improv through 24LIVE. Primarily about what I like and don't like, and how I can incorporate those aspects into my personal improv.
Like, I learned I don't ever want to do that Comedy Worx kind of stuff. Or be an intense referee. It's just not my type of thing. See? Big revelations, people.
And also... there were seriously a lot of female improvers there who I was really disappointed by (ending a sentence with a prepostion? And you're in Proconian, Clare? EDIT THIS PLZ, BRIAN!). They just didn't make me laugh. I was like... CHHS ladies would put them to shame. But, mostly, I was just proud to think of our company and how amazing we are at improv. Disregard how arrogant that sounds, that's how I truly felt. It feels nice to be continuously surrounded by some of the most funny, ridiculous human beings I have ever met on a weekly basis. I lub yew guyz.
The core that was there, though... so hilarious. I could have laughed forever. The only sad part is when I found out that some of my favorites were from Chicago, LA, NY. Because if they were Chapel Hill DSI, I would live at the new theater! At least I have Greg Hohn, Kit Fitzsimmons, and Zach Ward.
But, if anyone knows a way I can stalk Jeremy Griffin or Erik Martin... let me know.
It was also very inspiring to see a lot of the core and other members there were CHHS Improv Company alumnus (EDIT, BRIAN!). I was like... G-D, I can do fun as hell improv in high school, and then actually do it as a real adult person when I'm supposed to be getting a real job to pay a real mortgage. And hopefully, this dream of mine will be carried out with the rest of you, and possibly Laopo. I fish. It rains.
I also developed an improv crush on Henry Garrett Droege.
So cute! I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I'm really turned on by Corporate America. And who is to judge about what I think is erotic? CALL BACK?! Morning after?!
This post is disentegrating...
Anyway, it was lovely to see you all there and I'M REALLY PUMPED ABOUT AUDITIONS THIS WEEK.
Will, I feel like 24LIVE has totally cemented our friendship in new ways. Thank you for sharing your blanket with me, even though I was smelling pretty foul towards the end of it.
Also, can we turn into Transactors? I just want for all of us to make out, guys.

KARATE CHOP EDIT: SURPRISE! Right after I finished typing this entry and talking to Handley via AIM, ROFLMAO, I turned on the TV and it was on Bravo and that new show, ASSSSCAT Improv was on. Improv is everywhere... like herpes.
Yes, I edited this entry approx. 239843 times. I have a problem.

Moments about our crew:
9:50 - there are a bunch of high school kids at 10 oclock.
10:15 - MORE HS KIDS SHOWED UP
Jeremy Griffin: (as Benjamin Franklin) Ok, I'll do it
...silence...
Griff: Ok, nevermind...next time
...applause?!...
Griff: You like me?
...more applause...and screaming...the highschoolers begin to get rowdy...
Bahaha, repeated references to us!
P.P.S. Did you see what mood I put down? Quixotic? SERIOUSLY EVERYTHING ON HERE IS A CALLBACK.
